As the holidays approached, Hydro Flask reached out to Hammerquist to plan their entire seasonal campaign from the tactical strategy, content integration and creative themes to the individual creative executions across web, social and email. We built a comprehensive marketing strategy, planned out a day-by-day cadence and executed multiple creative micro-campaigns that played out over an entire five-week arc. The Hammerquist team also tackled all the web development responsibilities without a single hitch during the highest traffic season of the year.
For us, the creative highlights included an employee-based campaign that linked to the REI Opt Outside effort and a stream of branded content elements in email campaigns that generated engagement and freshness in a crowded, heavily promotional Black Friday/Cyber Monday landscape. We also concepted, propped, shot and designed clean, identifiable product laydowns for web and social that received an overwhelmingly positive response. As an encore, we worked with their social team, traveling to the University of Oregon to produce a Hydro Flask holiday concert for Facebook Live, carols played on bottles, ugly Christmas sweaters and all.
