As the premium supplier to a majority of the industry, beer is business at Taphandles. Yet the brand looked to Hammerquist to help identify and define their company character through a brand strategy project that flowed naturally into a website redesign. We started with collaborative exercises to help them express the soul of their company and highlight the craftsmanship of their process. Stepping from tone boards into an update of their color palette, we jumped into a website redesign that built on responsive, rich imagery for a better expression of the brand.
We worked with them to create new product photography, a new brand video for the home page and rebuilt their ‘Ready-Made’ shop using the Shopify ecommerce solution, a self-management shift that streamlined their back end operations but didn’t strain their staff to switch out. We also created localized sites for two additional languages, with the option to expand into new global markets in the future. Lastly, we introduced a new content management system to enable the client to update regularly as well as build out new content in the future—then we backed it up with content plan case studies, detailed product shots and a self-management primer that eliminated the need for time-intensive dev updates.
